Pascal Siakam will remain out until after the All-Star break due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols. The Toronto Raptors’ forward will miss the three remaining games until the All-Star Game.
There’s no indication yet if he has tested positive for COVID-19 or if this a contact tracing issue, but either way, the earliest he will play is March 11.
Siakam is averaging 20.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists for Toronto this season. Chris Boucher will become the starter for the rest of the first part of the season, while De’Andre Bembry will receive an uptick in minutes
“Toronto Raptors star Pascal Siakam is expected to remain in the league’s Health and Safety protocol through the All-Star break, missing the final three games of the first half, sources tell ESPN. Siakam sat out Friday’s victory over Houston in the protocol.”Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN
