The Toronto Raptors will face the Washington Wizards without OG Anunoby and Yuta Watanabe. Anunoby and Watanabe have been ruled out of Wednesday’s contest with calf and ankle injuries, respectively.
On the bright side, Kyle Lowry is ready to go, as he forced to leave Monday’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies with back spasms.
Anunoby will miss the seventh consecutive game for the Raptors, while Watanabe suffered an ankle injury during a workout Tuesday.
Anunoby averages a career-high 14.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.6 assists through 17 games in the 2020/21 season campaign.
Norman Powell and De’Andre Bembry are expected to share Anunoby’s minutes. Powell had a 29-point outing in the latest Raptors’ outing helping his team to secure an easy victory over Memphis.
