Sixers reportedly interested in acquiring Nemanja Bjelica from Sacramento Kings

The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to add more shooters around Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons as they team could have interest in the Sacramento Kings’ forward Nemanja Bjelica.

The Sixers are on the top of the East, however they still need to fix a couple of issues to remain strong against the tough Western Conference competition.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Bjelica could be on the Sixers’ radar ahead of the trade deadline, which will take place on Mar.25.

Bjelica, a 40+ percent shooter for three consecutive years in the NBA, could be a great addition for the Sixers, who are going through a rough shooting patch in the last few games.

Philadelphia is a bottom-three team in shooting volume from three (29.5 attempts per game) making just a 35.8-percent of its shots from deep.

Bjelica has been dropped off the Kings’ rotation this season, as the Sacramento franchise try to build its roster of the future around De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton.

The 32-years-old veteran was limited to just 10 games in the 2020/21 campaign so far. His $7M deal will expire in the summer, where the Serbian forward will enter the market as an unrestricted free agent
