Philadelphia 76ers: Tobias Harris suffers a knee contusion

Tobias Harris left the game against the Dallas Mavericks after 22 minutes with a knee injury. The veteran forward had an MRI on Friday that did not reveal structural damage.

He will be re-evaluated in 48 hours and that means he will not be available for the Saturday’s matchup vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers with a knee contusion.

Harris has been great so far for the Sixers averaging 20.2 points on 51-percent shooting from the field. He’s also making his threes on a 41-percent clip shooting 89-percent from the free-throw line.

That’s good news for the Sixers’ team as they cannot afford to lose their second best scorer in the squad. Expect Seth Curry, Shake Milton and Matisse Thybulle to increase their minutes and production in the game vs. Cleveland.
