The Orlando Magic rookie point guard Cole Anthony has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his right rib. The rookie will again play after the All-Star break.
In particular, Anthony will miss the rest of Orlando’s games in February. Anthony is the latest addition in the long list of injuries in the Magic roster.
For Orlando, starting guard Markelle Fultz is already out for the season, while Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Issac are still sidelined.
Michael-Carter Williams will replace Anthony in the starting point guard position, while Frank Mason is also going to receive extra minutes.
Anthony suffered the injury on Feb.9. Williams took his place since then and averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 dimes per contest on 40% shooting from the field and 71.4% from the stripe.
