Karl-Anthony Towns is expected to return to action against the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night as reported by Shams Charania.
Towns missed the last 13 games of the season due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Towns has been traveling with the team for a while but the Wolves wanted to make sure his conditioning was up to par.
He hasn’t played in a game since January 13, as he recovered from the virus and worked on his conditioning. Towns limited to four games so far this year.
He averages 22.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists through four contests with Minnesota having a 3-1 record in the games he played.
The Timberwolves are on a 3-17 record in the games Towns was unavailable, after starting their 2020/21 campaign in a positive note.
