Milwaukee Bucks reportedly still interested in P.J. Tucker

Milwaukee Bucks could pursue to make a roster addition ahead of the trade deadline of March 25. The franchise could trade for PJ Tucker, according to Kevin O’Connor of the Ringer.

Tucker will be an unrestricted free agent next summer, as he refused to work a new deal with the Houston Rockets the past offseason.

As a reslt, the Rockets could look to offload the veteran defensive specialist. However, according to latest reports, the Rockets would like to receive player/players and not draft compensation.

Tucker will certainly be on the radar of the most contenders this season as teams like the Lakers, the Nets and the Sixers could potentially add a player like Tucker.

League sources told me in November that the Bucks were in pursuit of P.J. Tucker from the Rockets. Their interest remains today, Connor wrote.

The Bucks are in need of switchable defenders and Tucker could be the answer on Brook Lopez tough timw away from basket.

Most of Milwaukee’s opponents take advantage of Lopez’s lack of speed to get easy baskets inside the paint or create a shot in the three-point area.

Tucker is also a great shooter from the corner and a player that could take advantage of Giannis Antetokounmpo attacking the paint.

All in All, Tucker could certainly help the Bucks, it remains to be seen if the franchise could offer the right combination of talent to acquire him.
