Memphis Grizzlies: De’Anthony Melton, Brandon Clarke ruled out vs. Hornets

The Memphis Grizzlies will have to get back in their winning ways vs. Hornets on Wednesday without guard D’Anthony Melton and forward Brandon Clarke.

Clark will miss his  the third straight game due to a calf issue with Kyle Anderson covering for him in the starting forward position during this span.

Melton will miss a second straight game due to the shoulder injury, which he suffered during Saturday’s loss to the Pelicans.

Desmond Bane and Grayson Allen are expected to receive minutes in the shooting guard position.Bane made his first start of his career against Raptors Monday.

Bane is shooting on a 48.1-percent clip from deep on 4.1 attempts per game, while Allen is making 37.7-percent of hs shots from the three-point line.

Memphis will try to get back in the winning column, after dropping the last four games including two in their home turf against the Pacers and the Raptors.
