Houston Rockets: DeMarcus Cousins ruled out vs. Bulls

DeMarcus Cousins will be unavailable for the Houston Rockets on Monday’s game vs. the Chicago Bulls. Cousins is out with a right heel issue.

Houston is expecting to part ways with the veteran center hoping to ship him to a contending team. Cousins will play be available to play until he officially part ways with Houston.

He averages 9.6 points and 7.6 rebounds in 25 minutes per contest. Head coach Stephen Silas said that the recent reports about the team parting ways with the center were “just rumors at this point.”

In any case, PJ Tucker is expected to play minutes in the center position with Cousins out. The vteran center had 19 points and eight rebounds in the last game vs. Philadelphia.
