Kelly Oubre Jr. will miss Wednesday’s matchup vs. Portland for the Golden State Warriors. The high-flying forward has been ruled out due to a wrist injury.
With Oubre unavailable tonight, there will be more minutes for Kent Bazemore, Damion Lee and maybe even Jordan Poole, who was recently recalled from the G League will be able to get into the rotation.
The former Suns’ forward, who joined the Warriors the past offseason, is steadily finding his footing in his new team rotation having a better understanding Steve Kerr’s system.
He’s averaging 15.4 points on 53.2-percent from the field in the last five games adding six rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest. During that span, the Warriors are on a plus-5.4, when Oubre is taking the floor.
