Golden State Warriors: James Wiseman out additional 7-10 days due to wrist injury

The Golden State Warriors ruled out rookie James Wiseman for another 7-10 days due to a wrist injury. Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr said the imaging was clean, but Wiseman is still in pain.

Wiseman previously sprained his wrist in early February and has missed the last five games. It was a huge blow for the Warriors, who were already thin at the center position.

The 19-year-old center earned his playtime as the Warriors elect him to be part of the starting lineup alongside All-Defense forward Draymond Green.

He’s already averaging 12.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game being a physical presence in the paint for the Golden State Warriors.

With Kevon Looney also out with an ankle injury, Eric Pascall, Draymond Green and Juan Toscano are going to absorb a huge amount of minutes as small-ball centers.
