Detroit Pistons guard Delon Wright will miss at least two weeks with grade 2 right groin strain. Wright will be re-evaluated by the Pistons’ medical staff in two weeks.
Wright was on a good run lately for the slumping Pistons as he was in double-digits in the six out of the last seven Detroit’s game.
With Wright out, Dennis Smith Jr. is expected to move to the starting lineup. Smith was part of the Derrick Rose trade to the New York Knicks.
He has played five games in Detroit averaging just 4.6 points on 14.6 minutes per contest. Wright averages 10.7 points shooting a 38-percent from deep and a career-high 46.8-percent from the field.
