Denver Nuggets: Garry Harris ruled out for game vs. Hawks

Denver Nuggets shooting guard Garry Harris will miss Sunday’s contest against the Atlanta Hawks, after aggravating the adductor strain that kept him out for several weeks.

Harris made his return on Wednesday, however he apparently returns to the sidelines. Denver will rely on Will Barton to cover for Harris. while Monte Morris will also see more minutes.

With Morris in the lineup, Jamal Murray, who dropped 50 vs. Cavs on Friday, tends to play more off the ball. Facundo Campazzo could also play more with Harris out.

Harris has missed 10 games so far this season being unable to got his rhythm back since the start of the new season. Harris’ absence magnifies the lack of wing defending for the Nuggets.

The Michigan State product is having a tough season so far averaging a career-low 9.7 points on 32-percent shooting from three.
