Brooklyn Nets: Kevin Durant is going to be out longer than expected

Kevin Durant is going to miss more time due to his hamstring issue. The Brooklyn Nets’ announced Durant will continue his rehab through the All-Star break.

As a result, he’s going to miss the All-Star Game, which will take place March 7 on Atlanta. Brooklyn revealed Durant’s latest MRI ‘provided a clearer picture of the hamstring’.

For the Nets, winners of their last eight games, Durant will miss games against the Mavericks, Spurs and Rockets before a potential return March 11 against the Celtics.

Durant missed the whole 2019/2020 campaign due to injury, so it’s pretty obvious that they will be more cautious with their superstar.

Jayson Tatum is expected to replace Durant in the All-Star team starting lineup, while Domantas Sabonis will be upgraded to an All-Star reserve to cover for Tatum.
