Boston Celtics: Robert Williams out of Thurday’s matchup vs. Raptors

Robert Williams has been ruled out of the Celtics’ game vs. the Raptors. The promising bigman has left hip soreness, which will keep him out of Thursday’s matchup.

Williams missed time last season due to hip issues, however he is considered the third option in center position behind Daniel Theis and Tristan Thompson.

Theis and Thompson will share the minutes on the ‘5’ against the versatile front court of the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors have their share of issues with OG Anunoby being questionable ahead of Thursday’s clash.

Anunoby has not played since late-January due to a calf injury and Norman Powell is expected to receive another start if the Indiana product continue to be unavailable until the start of Thuerday’s contest.

Also expect Yuta Watanabe to receive minutes if the Raptors’ forward is fully recovered from the ankle sprain that kept him out of the Raptors’ contest against Wizards.
