Boston Celtics won’t have Kemba Walker and Daniel Theis available for Wednesday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. Theis also missed Boston’s last game vs. the Nuggets.
Walker is resting the second night of a back-to-back, as he recovers from a knee issue. With Marcus Smart also out, Payton Pritchard is expected to receive more minutes.
On the other hand, Tristan Thompson will start in the center position having scored nine points with 12 rebounds against Denver Tuesday.
Robert Williams will cover the back-up center minutes with Semi Ojeleye starting in the forward position alongside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Atlanta is also having its share of issues with several players out with injury including De’Andre Hunter, Kris Dunn, Rajon Rondo and Bogdan Bogdanovic.
