The Brooklyn Nets add another defensive specialist signing former NBA All-Defensive Team member Andre Roberson. Roberson is reunited with Kevin Durant in Brooklyn.
They both played together in Oklahoma City for three seasons, before Durant joins the Warriors in 2016. Roberson received an NBA All-Defense accolade back in 2017.
He faced many injuries’ setback the last two and a half seasons that kept him away from the game. Roberson will add depth and much-needed defensive cover in the wings for the Nets.
He has career averages of 4.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in 302 games with the Thunder. This will be the fourth player Brooklyn adds since the James Harden blockbuster trade.
They previously signed Norvel Pelle, Noah Vonleh and Iman Shumpert. The four signings indicate the Nets’ need of defensive specialists to surround their extremely talented superstar trio.
